French Luncheon at Merriweather’s Market

  • Salade Nicoise: tuna, romaine hearts, green beans, tomatoes, black olives, eggs, vinaigrette
  • Coq au Vin: French stew made with chicken, red wine, bacon, mushrooms, pearl onions
  • Artisan bread w/ honey whipped butter
  • Creme Brulee Bites
  • Apple Tarte Tatin with Creme Anglaise
  • Self-Serve Iced Tea and Water included

There will be three presentations during lunch…

1. Mark Schneider will portray Lafayette and discuss the Virginia Campaign which started on March 14th, 1781.

2. AFL President Alan Hoffman will present a lecture titled: Lafayette in the American Revolution 3. Author Ted Hart will present his book, Vineyards to Victory

$50.00 per person (slightly more than years past since Merriweather’s is opening on Saturday just for us).
