Explore Freemasonry and Lafayette. Join us for an in depth discussion on Lafayette’s relationship with the world’s oldest fraternity and an exclusive tour of the “House of the Temple” in Washington DC. The tour will include an exhibit of rare American history artifacts including letters and Masonic items associated with Washington, Lafayette, Benjamin Franklin and more. Completed in 1915, the House of the Temple is one of the most spectacular buildings in our country. The building includes a library, the first public library open in Washington, DC, and a museum featuring different exhibits on fraternalism, American history, and Freemasonry in general.
