4:30 pm, Parade
A motorcade escorting our Lafayette re-enactor will arrive at Canandaigua Elementary School, 96 W. Gibson Street.
Spectators are to access the parking lot (#96 West Gibson Street).
The welcome ceremony will be held outside on the front steps (facing West).
Guests are encouraged to bring folding chairs.
4:45 pm, Welcoming Ceremony
Pole Barn Brass Quintet will play the "Star Spangled Banner".
Canandaigua Mayor Bob Palumbo will deliver Proclamation.
Salutations will be offered by the Daughters of the American Revolution and the Sons of the American Revolution.
Christopher Carosa, author of the new book "History Unleashed: Lafayette's Remarkable Tour of the Greater Western New York Region", will entertain with anecdotes from his research.
Children of the American Revolution will dedicate a Memorial Wreath for Veterans.
6:00 pm, Celebration Banquet
Location: American Legion, 454 N. Main Street, Canandaigua, N.Y.
Dine with the Guest of Honor, the Marquis de Lafayette, himself!
Dinner consists of Stuffed Chicken Breast, Ham, Roasted Potatoes, Vegetable Medley, Salad and Rolls. Strawberry Shortcake for Dessert.
