You can learn about the relationship between President James Monroe and the Marquis de Lafayette in a one-hour presentation given by Mark Walsh of the James Monroe Memorial Foundation. This will be given at the MacArthur Memorial Auditorium. The lecture is hosted by the Norfolk Historical Society (NHS) and is free and open to the public. Period attire is welcome.
